I have only good things to say about DTC

The personnel at all levels are warm, friendly, and competent. The facilities are well-maintained and are always being updated and evaluated for improvement. The pro shop stock is both current and complete. And, the programs offer something for everyone at all levels, allowing members to become as involved as they want to be in the game of tennis for both pleasure and competitive play.  Most importantly for me, has been the instruction from the professional staff. Their teaching principles are consistent across all levels, but they each bring their own personalized approach to instruction. I have benefited immensely over the years from all of the professional staff members with whom I have worked. I appreciate their expertise and passion for the sport coupled with a desire to always include elements of fun and humor. In exchange, they also show a sincere appreciation back to the members for our support of them.

I have been playing tennis at Doylestown Tennis Club for over 14 years.  I’ve taken (and continue to take) lessons, as well as participate in multiple leagues at DTC. The pros are so knowledgeable, and everyone is always warm and welcoming! It’s such a great place to  meet new people and grow as a player.

I have been a tennis enthusiast for the past 30 years. In that time, I have enjoyed memberships at several tennis clubs, I can state without a doubt that the Doylestown Tennis Club is the best facility I have ever played at. From the top to the bottom the club is welcoming, professionally run, and provides wonderful opportunities and events to enjoy this wonderful game. Jim Klein is by far the best instructor I have ever had an opportunity to train with. His awareness and understanding of the game make him a master pro.

The coaching staff at DTC excel at paying meticulous attention to detail on improving your tennis strokes and game strategy.  Their coaching philosophy allows for great improvement in your tennis game, regardless of your tennis level of play.  And, they make it fun and enjoyable along the way!

My Son really liked tennis… Now he absolutely loves it!

My first experience with Doylestown Tennis Club was a 1-hour lesson with Jim Klein for my 14-year old son.  Within the first 35-minutes, Jim transformed my son's ground strokes.  As I sat court-side, observing my son's expressions of confidence and joy… well, how do I say it...my eyes started to sweat.  It was truly a magical moment as Jim focused in on where my son was, and in just a few short moments released him closer to where he could be.  It was a no brainer for us, He started his first group lesson later that same day.  
Fast forward to today… Now we find ourselves at DTC 4 days a week.   I have found that every staff member has a unique focus and heart for teaching the art & science of the game with a joyful sense of fun!
I don't typically share my experiences like this, but finding a place that’s this safe and nurturing for my most valued treasure, I don't mind saying that I’m a fan-boy of the Doylestown Tennis Club!

I came here to spend time with my daughter and learn tennis. I’m glad I did. The facilities, staff, members and events are top notch.  More than a year later and we are still playing and learning.

Playing after a 22+ year hiatus

In the beginning of summer 2022, I was looking to find a tennis club that I could join to start playing tennis again after a 22+ year hiatus. I came across DTC during my search and decided to give the adult summer camp a try. I was extremely nervous since I had not picked up a tennis racquet in so long and I didn’t know what to expect. When I got to the club, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff and club members. The instructors were great and they helped put me at ease even though I was rusty at playing. This sparked my interest in learning the basic techniques from a pro and that’s when I started private lessons with Jim. He is an amazing instructor who is very knowledgeable and patient and provides really good feedback during lessons. Jim makes tennis fun and his passion for teaching really shows! I am extremely happy that I found DTC and I look forward to playing more tennis in the future!

What always impresses me is how friendly the front desk staff is. Being on a first name basis gives you a very homely feel. The club is always clean through and through. And the teaching pros are all top notch and passion about their craft.
